Hello! Recently my cat Ollie was diagnosed with a feline urethral obstruction, which we were luckily able to get removed for $2500. Urethral obstructions are extremely dangerous and can kill a cat in as little as 24-48 hours.
Shortly after surgery, two vets told me that Ollie is very likely to reobstruct again in his future. We have him on preventative medication and diet now to keep the odds as low as possible, but I couldn't pay for another surgery right now if Ollie needed it.
